Planet of Tanks is the game to play if you are a lover of tanks. In the get go, you run many different kinds of tanks, and you advance further in the tech tree to unlock more updates and tier tanks. Though we already have a World of Tanks game on the PC, the new World of Tanks Blitz that was once only available on iOS and Android is currently also playable on the PC. So I went and researched to determine if Blitz is well worth it as a replacement for the World of Tanks which was out for several years.

Even though it's an extremely fun game to play, sticking around for the long term never occurred. I just picked it up once I was tired, and never played more a couple weeks straight it. Its just one of these games you play when you need to hop into a fast game and make something burst. Regardless of this itself is extremely popular. We've seen lots of games but World of Tanks is in a league of its own, and its no surprise they aimed to draw players. I even tried World of Tanks Blitz when it first came out and found it pleasurable; but a bit more simple, it was the same.

Nothing much has changed with this PC version. Its the same simple game as it had been back then. Exactly like in the PC version of World of Tanks, you are given a simple Tier 1 tank. By playing you will unlock expertise, credits and gold. Credits are the currency you get while playing the game that is used to buy vehicles and upgrades where gold is your cash-purchased money that is used to unlock everything than the rest. The sport is not cover to win, and never was: you can not buy your way directly. Every upgrade or tank has a minimum required amount of expertise, and you still need to fulfill with this sum to use them. So while these requirements can't bypass using a money store buy, you can use your wallet to obtain premium, which gives expertise to you.

Target locked.

Now that we've got this from the way, let us talk about the sport itself. Which are the biggest differences between the normal game and this cellular phone port (ported now to PC)? The first thing that you will quickly find out is that the sport, generally speaking, is much more simple. The maps are smaller and the game is more straightforward (though World of Tanks hasn't been really difficult). The game feels a little more casual in this regard. Games are a whole lot quicker than your average game on the PC. You'll come across an enemy after just a few seconds of driving into a struggle considering that the maps feel small, and it's somewhat more easy to get into the action than on the PC. My biggest problem in the version that is normal is that the maps occasionally feel a bit too big. You can be easily hidden or surprise by folks from all sides whenever you're driving straight into the middle of the battlefield. I am aware that its my fault because I can't adjust right to the speed of the game, but to me it just sounds dull to wait around a corner, hoping for a bad soul to cross by, or waiting for your whole team so that you gradually advance. No, I want to go straight into action and burst away with the rockets.

And this is exactly what works in the Blitz variant. Every game is action packed, and you cannot hide from the enemies. Its not as if you're play hide and seek, although you still have to play strategically to stay alive as long as you can across a map with the enemy. Among the most significant things is that there's not any artillery so that you can't randomly burst like you are in the game. Destroying a tank that's nowhere close you and unable to see you seems unbalanced, and lots of people appear to agree with this, although I never enjoyed the artillery.

Since the game was created for mobile devices the graphics are not on par of that at the desktop version of World of Tanks. Honestly this can scare off people. It does not arrive as close at all to the first, and it feels as if you're currently playing with with a sport. To me it does not matter how much and I believe it looks a whole lot cleaner. No foliage which could block your view or things like this, generally it seems far more fair and balanced.

There is very little in the means of cover.

Conclusion: Not a PC Contender (3/5)

The major issue is, which one do I prefer? Well, regardless of the quicker games, the mechanisms, and the lack of artillery, I would go for the World of Tanks version when playing on PC. It offers you more, and it is a larger package in general. Planet of Tanks Blitz is a very fun game, but I honestly do not know why they made this version available for your PC. Its only the exact same game with less features, and not as far in articles releases because the true PC game is. Unfortunately you can't play on precisely the same account on your PC and the mobile versions of Blitz so I really do not see the purpose of choosing on Blitz within the standard World of Tanks. If you do not mind the graphics that is more simplistic, and hate the artillery, Blitz is well worth the attempt. Besides that, I only ask myself, why bother?
