An achromatic lens or Achromat is a lens that's created with the goal of restricting the consequences of lens(chromatic and spherical) aberration. Achromatic lenses have been adjusted to bring two wavelengths to concentrate in the exact same plane.

What is a chromatic aberration?

Chromatic aberration, too Called chromatic distortion and spherochromatism, is an effect generated from dispersion as a result of failure of a lens to focus all colors to the same convergence point.
