Originally constructed in 1790, the inn was bought by Robert Altland at 1880, and stands in the same location today. Including a third story and what is currently its present facade completed in 1911 by then owner Ruben Altland, the inn and tavern continued to prosper. Fast forward to 1954; no more made of logs but amazing with a refurbished grandeur for all to delight in the Altland House was rented at this time by a former waitress, Betty Haugh along with her husband Tom later purchased by the Haugh household in 1972.
